Salm 103
O m'anam, beannaich thus' a-nis an Dia Iehòbhah mòr; Moladh gach nì an taobh staigh dhìom ainm naomha mar as còir. O m'anam, beannaich fhèin a-nis Iehòbhah mòr do Dhia; Na dìochuimhnich na tìodhlacan a dheònaich dhut an Triath. 'S e mhaitheas dhut gu gràsmhor caoin gach peacadh annad fhèin; 'S e bheir dhut slàint', is furtachd fòs, od easlaintean gu lèir. Do bheatha fòs o sgrios a' bhàis, 's e dh'fhuasglas dhut gu pailt; 'S e chrùnas thu le coron gràidh, 's le tròcair chaoimh gun airc. Le mhaitheas is le thìodhlacan sàr-lìonaidh e do bheul; 'S tha d'òige air a nuadhachadh mar iolair luath nan speur. Air sgàth na muinntir ud, a tha le fòirneart air an claoidh, Ceartas is breitheanas faraon, 's e Dia nì dhaibh gun dìth. Do Mhaois an neach a b'òglach dha a shlighe chuir e 'n cèill; Is mar an ceudna ghnìomharan do chlannan Israèil. Tha 'n Tighearn iochdmhor tròcaireach, 's mall fhearg, 's is pailt a ghràs. Cha bhi e tagradh rinn do shìor 's cha ghlèidh e fhearg gu bràth. A rèir ar peacaidh iomarcaich, dìoghaltas oirnn cha d'rinn; 'S a rèir ar ciont' is easaontais cha tug e luigheachd dhuinn. Oir mar os cionn na talmhainn tha na speuran àrd gach rè, Is amhlaidh sin tha thròcair mòr don dream don eagal e. Mar tha an àird an ear 's an iar a' gabhail fad o chèil'; 'S co fhad a chuireas Dia nan gràs ar peacaidh uainn gu lèir. Amhlaidh mar ghabhas athair dàimh is truas da leanban maoth', Mar sin da fhìor luchd-eagail fhèin Dia gabhaidh truas gu caomh. Oir 's aithne dhàsan agus 's lèir ar cruth 's ar dealbh gu ceart; Gur duslach talmhainn sinn air fad is cuimhne leis gu beachd. An duine truagh, a ta a làith' amhlaidh mar fheur a-ghnàth; Mar bhàrr na luibh' air machair fòs a ta e fàs fo bhlàth. Oir gabhaidh thairis osag ghaoith', 's cha bhi e idir ann; 'S chan fhaicear e san ionad ud an robh e fàs gu teann. Ach mairidh tròcair Dhè gu sìor don dream don eagal e, Is fòs do chloinn an cloinne-san bidh fhìreantachd gach rè; Don aitim ud a chumas ris an cùmhnant rinn e riu; 'S a chuimhnicheas 'uil' àitheantan, a-chum gun dèant' iad leo. Dia shocraich anns na nèamhan àrd' a chathair rìoghail fhèin; A rìoghachd tha an uachdar fòs os cionn gach nì fon ghrèin. Sìor-bheannaichibh Iehòbhah mòr, O ainglean treun an neart, Tha dèanamh 'iarrtais mar as còir; 's a' tabhairt gèill da reachd. Gach uile shluagh a bhuineas dha, beannaichibh Dia a-nis; A sheirbhisich len coileanar gach nì as toileach leis. 'Uil' oibrean, feadh a thighearnais, a rinneadh leis an Triath, An rìgh Iehòbhah beannaichibh; O m'anam, beannaich Dia.

Psalm 103
Of David.
Praise Yahweh, my soul, I praise his holy name from the depths of my heart. Praise Yahweh, my soul, and never forget his kindnesses. He forgives all your sins, and cures all your illnesses; he saves your life from the pit; and crowns you with faithful love and mercy; he satisfies you all your life with goodness, and renews your youth like an eagle's. Yahweh is righteous in all he does, and just to all the oppressed. He made his way known to Moses, his deeds to the people of Israel. Yahweh is merciful and gracious, slow to get angry, full of faithful love. He will not be always accusing, nor nurse his anger forever. He does not act as our sins deserve, or give us our due for our offences; his faithful love for those who fear him is as high as the heavens above the earth. As far as the east is from the west, that far he takes our sins from us. As a father treats his children tenderly, so Yahweh is tender to those who fear him. He knows how we were made and remembers that we are dust. The days of mortals are just like grass, they flourish like flowers in the fields, then the gales blow and they disappear and no one remembers where they grew. But Yahweh's eternal faithful love is with those who fear him; his justice stays with their children's children, with those who keep his covenant and obey his precepts with care. Yahweh has set his throne in heaven; his kingly power rules the world. Praise Yahweh, you angels of his, you mighty ones who do his word! Praise Yahweh, you heavenly armies, you who carry out his will! Praise Yahweh, all his works, everywhere he rules! Praise Yahweh, my soul!
