Thoir ormsa breith, a Dhia nan dùl; am neochiont ghluais mi fhèin; Oir rinn mi dòchas math à Dia, cha sleamhnaich uam mo cheum. Dhia, fionn mo chrìdh', is m'àirnean fòs, fidir is ceasnaich mi. Oir dhearc mi air do choibhneas gràidh: ad fhirinn ghluais mi, Dhè. Le cuideachd dhìomhain riamh nìor shuidh; cha siùbhlam le luchd-saoibh. Is beag orm coitheanal an uilc: 's cha suidh mi sìos le baoith. An neochiont glanaidh mi mo làmh, is cuairtcheam d'altair, Dhè; Gum foillsichinn le moladh àrd do mhìorbhailean gu lèir. Còmhnaidh do theach is ionmhainn leam, a Thighearn is a Dhè, Gnàth-àite bunaidh d'onorach, is leam ro-ionmhainn e. Le peacaichean, luchd-dèanamh uilc, na cruinnich m'anam bochd; Na cuir mo bheath' nan cuideachd siud tha fuileachdach gu lochd; Ga bheil an t-aimhleas mòr nan glaic; duais-bhratha nan làimh dheis; Ach gluaisidh mi am neochiont fhèin; ad thròcair saor-sa mis'. Na seasamh tha mo chas gu beachd air ionad còmhnard rèidh: Is ann an coitheanal nan naomh, beannaicheam thus', a Dhè.

Psalm 26
Of David.
O Yahweh, be my judge,
for I have led a blameless life;
I have trusted in Yahweh
without wavering.
Prove me, O Yahweh, and try me;
test my heart and my mind,
for your faithful love is before my eyes,
and I live my life by your truth.
I have not sat with devious people;
I will not mix with hypocrites.
I hate the company of sinners;
I will not sit with evil people.
I wash my hands with innocence,
to go about your altar, O Yahweh,
telling all your mighty acts,
proclaiming them with thankful voice.
O Yahweh, I love your dwelling place,
the place in which your glory lives.
Do not cast me out with sinners,
my life with them who thirst for blood,
whose hands are stained with guilt,
their right hands filled with bribes.
But I will lead a blameless life;
redeem me; show me graciousness.
I take my stand on solid ground,
to bless the Lord in great assemblies.
