Salm 62
Le foighidinn tha m'anam bochd feitheamh air Dia gu beachd; 'S ann uaith' tha furtachd agus fòir orm air gach taobh a' teachd. 'S e mhàin as carraig dhìdein dhomh, is m'fhurtachd e ro-dheas; Mo thèarmann dìleas e faraon, gu mòr cha ghluaisear mis'. Cia fhad a dhealbhar aimhleas leibh? Làn-mharbhar sibh gu beachd, Mar bhall' air chrith, 's mar ghàrradh dh'aom tha leagadh oirbh a' teachd. O urram àrd ga thilgeadh sìos tha 'n comhairlean a' ruith; 'S i 's miann leo breug; beannachd nam beul, ach mallachd an taobh staigh. O m'anam, feith gu foighidneach ri Dia a-mhàin mar chleachd; Oir annsan tha mo mhuinghinn threun, 's mo dhòchas fhèin gu beachd. 'S e mhàin as carraig dhìleas dhomh, 's e mhàin mo shlàinte dheas; Mo thèarmann daingeann e faraon, mar sin cha ghluaisear mis'. Mo shlàinte tha 's mo ghlòir an Dia, ris earbam fhèin a-ghnàth; Carraig mo neirt, 's mo thèarmann treun, 's e Dia, gu buan 's gu bràth. O phobaill, cuiribh ann an Dia ur dòchas anns gach àm; Na fhianais dòirtibh mach ur cridh'; 's e Dia ar tèarmann ann. 'S nì dìomhain daoine beag' gu fìor, tha daoine mòr' nam brèig; Air meidh rin tomhas, 's aotroim' iad na dìomhanas gu lèir. Na earb à foirneart, 's na dèan uaill à reubainn no droch-bheairt; Na socraich fòs do chrìdh' air stòr, 'n tràth chinneas saoibhreas leat. Do labhair Dia aon uair a-mach; siud chualas uair no dhà, Gur leis an Dia tha cumhachdach treis agus neart gach là. Tròcair, a Thighearn, buinidh dhut, is gràsan mòr faraon; Oir bheir thu rèir a ghnìomharan, a luigheachd do gach aon.

Psalm 62
For the choirmaster. Jeduthun. Psalm. Of David.
My soul finds rest in God alone; my salvation comes from him. Only he is my rock, my safety, my fortress where I may stand unshaken. How much longer will you mount the assault, all gathered to throw your victim down, this leaning wall, this toppling fence? They aim to topple him from his height. They take delight in lies. Their mouths are filled with blessings, while cursing in their hearts. Find rest, my soul, in God alone; all my hope comes from him. He alone is my fortress, my rock of safety; I will not be shaken. My safety and honour depend on God; my mighty rock, my refuge place. Trust him always, all you people; pour out your hearts to him; God is our refuge. Ordinary people are empty air; important people are a sham; they come to nothing when weighed on scales; when put together they are lighter than air. Do not trust in extortion, or take pride in stolen goods; however much your wealth may grow, do not set your heart on it. One thing God has spoken, two things I have heard: that you, O God, are strong, that you, O Lord, show faithful love. You reward all as their deeds deserve.
