Salm 112
O thugaibh moladh mòr do Dhia; 's beannaicht' an tì gu beachd Don eagal Dia, 's a ghabhas toil gu mòr da lagh 's da reachd. Bidh shliochd-san làidir anns an tìr, 's ro-bheannaicht' sìol nan saoi. Bidh maoin is saoibhreas mòr na thaigh, bidh cheartas buan a-chaoidh. Tràth bhitheas saoi an dorchadas, 'n sin èiridh solas dha; Tha e fìor-ghràsmhor tròcaireach is cothromach a-ghnàth. Is truacant' fòs, deagh-choingheallach, an duine math a-chlaodh; Is bheirear leis gu seòlta glic a ghnothaichean gu crìdch; Gu dearbh cha tig aon nì am feasd len gluaisear e gu mòr; Ach cuimhn' is iomradh math a-chaoidh bidh air an fhìrean chòir. Is airsan cha bhi faiteachas, air cluinntinn dha droch sgèil; Tha chridhe socraich muinghinneach an Dia Iehòbhah treun. Tha chridhe air a shocrachadh, cha bhi air geilt no fiamh, Gu ruig an uair am faicear leis air eascairdean a mhiann. Sgaoil e a chuid, is thug don bochd, 's buan fhìreantachd am feasd; Bidh 'adharc air a h-àrdachadh le urram mòr gun cheist. Cràdhar an daoi, tràth chì e seo; casaidh e fhiaclan geur', Seargaidh e as; is sgriosar miann nan aingidh ud gu lèir.

Psalm 112
Alphabetical.
Praise Yahweh! Blessed the one who fears Yahweh, who finds delight in his commands. The children will be great in the land, an upright race forever blessed. The house will be full of blessings and wealth, where righteousness endures forever. Even in darkness light shines for the upright, for the gracious, compassionate and good. Good comes to one who is gracious in lending, whose business is managed with justice. Surely such will never be shaken, remembered forever for righteousness. Bad news will bring no fear to a steadfast heart that trusts Yahweh. A steadfast heart need never fear, for all things end in triumph over foes. The poor who gain from lavish gifts, bring good renown that never fades, and dignity held high in honour. The wicked will see it with angry eyes and gnash their teeth and waste away; for wicked longings come to nought.
